Reports

Reports are the long-form view of your firm's marketing performance. Where the dashboard shows what's happening right now, Reports answer "how did we do last month and why." Every month Kenzsys generates a complete narrative PDF and emails it to your admins automatically — but you can also view, share, and download reports on demand.

Monthly reports with AI-generated insights

What's in a monthly report

Each monthly report is generated by the AI on the 1st of the month using the prior month's data across every integration. A typical report contains:

  1. Executive summary — three to five sentences capturing the headline numbers and the most important shift versus the prior month.
  2. Leads summary — total leads, new vs. returning, breakdown by source channel, breakdown by practice area.
  3. Top channels — which channels produced the most leads and the most retained clients, with rankings and trend arrows.
  4. Cost analysis — total spend, cost per lead by channel, cost per retained client, comparison to the firm's running 3-month average.
  5. AI-written narrative — a plain-English explanation of what happened, what changed, and what to do next month. This is the part that makes Kenzsys reports different from a dashboard screenshot.
  6. Recommendations — a ranked list of 3 to 6 concrete actions for the coming month, with the underlying data each one is based on.

How to view a report

  1. Click Reports in the left sidebar.
  2. The Reports page lists every month from oldest to newest. The most recent is at the top.
  3. Click any month to open the full report in the browser. You can scroll through all sections without leaving the page.

How to download a PDF

With a report open, click the Download PDF button in the top-right corner. The file downloads to your computer with the filename kenzsys-report-YYYY-MM.pdf. The PDF is the same content as the web view, formatted for printing or for emailing to stakeholders.

How to share a report

There are two ways to share a report:

  • Copy a shareable link. Click the Share button in the top-right corner, then click Copy link. The link is signed and does not require a Kenzsys account to open — anyone with the URL can view the report in their browser. Useful for sending to partners or referral sources.
  • Email the report. Click Share > Email, enter one or more email addresses, and click Send. Recipients get a copy of the PDF and the shareable link.

Automatic email delivery

Every Owner and Admin user automatically receives the monthly report by email on the 1st of each month at 9 AM in your firm's timezone. The email contains:

  • The PDF as an attachment.
  • The executive summary in the email body so you can read the highlights without opening the attachment.
  • A link to view the full interactive report on the web.

To change who receives the monthly report, go to Settings > Notifications > Monthly Report and edit the recipient list. By default this list mirrors your Owner + Admin roster, but you can add other recipients (for example, your firm's outside accountant or a marketing consultant) without giving them dashboard access.

Tip: Reports are most useful when you read them within the first week of the new month, while the prior month is still fresh and there's time to act on the recommendations. Block 30 minutes on the 1st of each month for this.

Requesting a manual report refresh

If you've added a new integration mid-month and want the report regenerated with the new data, you can request a manual refresh:

  1. Open the report you want to refresh.
  2. Click Refresh report in the top-right corner (next to Share).
  3. Confirm the refresh. The report regenerates in 1 to 3 minutes.
  4. The refreshed report replaces the previous version — anyone who has the shareable link will see the new content.

Refresh limit: Each month's report can be refreshed up to 3 times. After that you'll need to wait until the next month's report is generated. This prevents accidental regeneration loops.
